What is air pruning?

At Native forest we grow our container trees using a method known as air-pruning. Air-pruning allows tree roots to prune naturally as the tree grows in it’s container. By pruning the roots as the tree is growing we are able to reduce circling roots while promoting strong lateral root development throughout the entire depth of the container.

This video shows the root system you can expect from all our RediRooted container inventory. As you can see there is no root wrapping or circling yet roots are abundant.

Native Forest uses #1 and #3 RediRoot containers for our air-pruned container trees. Our RediRooted Trees will take off with new growth after transplant making them ideal for your XXXXXXX projects.
