Lifting Bare Root Seedlings

Native Forest Nursery is dedicated to providing you with seedlings that are healthy, high quality, and ready to plant. To ensure we provide you with the best possible seedlings we hand lift our bare root liners from the field.

This process is done by first having our mechanical lifter dig underneath the roots to remove soil and bring the seedlings to the surface. Seedlings are then hand lifted to prevent damage to the seedling.

Packaging hardwood seedlings in the field prevents wind and sun damage, all seedlings are hand packed.
