Native Forest Nursery produces over 30,000 field-grown liners annually so you can buy trees in bulk that are quality. We offer a diverse selection of high-quality field-grown liners that range in variety from native oaks, maples, and dogwoods to ornamental varieties of elms and sycamores. Our field-grown liners can be used for a variety of applications, but typically serve as liner stock for B&B growers or larger container growers from #7 to #65 size containers.
Our field liners help restore and retain ecosystem health throughout the country. The diversity and variety of tree liners we have available serve as a reminder of our commitment to your forest’s quality. The sandy loam soil here at Native Forest Nursery produces a first-rate fibrous root system in our field-grown liners. Our intensive growing practices include staking and pruning throughout the season as needed to promote good form and to provide a well-balanced plant. We at Native Forest Nursery strive for the afforestation and regeneration of forests everywhere.
Natural regeneration is a very slow process and can be helped with the implementation of field-grown liners. We can provide more than 100 species of native trees and shrubs that are grown from a suitable geographic region. Careful hand lifting, storage and handling help ensure that our plants are ready to take off with new growth.
